IMO, HLL is indeed more casual but I know its in EA and may change. Everything else is quite much the same or even better in HLL (deployment of MGs is a lot easier, movement speed is MUCH slower -> lonewolfing is a lot more difficult). So, would you think squad is also more casual?īesides that, PS has one only one, difference to HLL: stamina system / worse weapon sway.

HLL keeps around 3k - 4k players (the same as squad before they released the newest update). If i compare PS to squad: squad manages to keep 3k - 4k players, right now (october) there are even peaks of up to 11k players. In HLL the spawns cannot be placed in fancy locations -> not inside a bush e.g. After this, as long as you dont ♥♥♥♥ up with your rallye, they will NEVER be used again. What's the reason? Is HLL considered more casual?Īlready thought of less cheesy mechanics and mechanics which fit to the game? In PS you want to deliver focus on FOBs / MSPs, yet they are only used once, so that you can deploy your rallye.
#Post scriptum vs hell let loose free
The true test is to see how much of that free weekend/sale gain is RETAINED more than one week past the event. Depending on your region and time of play, there is a chance you may not be able to jump in a game whenever you want. PS is fairly low, check steam charts and omit the past two days of the sale. TIME.Įscrito originalmente por osheamat:HLL has a larger following and active player population. Whenever they released ANYTHING, its been buggy as hell.

On top of that: PS had one big problem ALL the time: bugs. Lets be honest, how much of a frontline or a feeling of 2 big armies fighting each other is generated in PS? Just be honest.īesides that, mechanics in HLL are MUCH less cheesy, there are cheesy mechanics, but much less than in PS. Guess its also because people are expecting real battles. Same for HLL, but HLL has managed to retain more players. I imagine a new player joining PS, not understanding the game play, cant see the enemy, whatever, and disconnecting. IMO, HLL is indeed more casual but I know its in EA and may change.īoth games are meant to be played in a team with people communicating.

Just look at steam charts to see which has more players on average. PS has done a poor job of these things and relied on being an off-shoot of Squad combined with sales/free weekends to gain players. My opinion: HLL did a good job of building hype, communicating with players, and actually did advertising.
